So, we’ve been going to some sporting events lately.  Over the weekend we went to a Brewer football game and to a Ranger’s game.  Yeah… Emma was terrified of the Brewer bears’ blowup bear.  You know how the team typically runs through some type of blow up item when they come onto the field at the beginning of the game or half time.  Well luckily Emma missed the team coming onto the field, but she didn’t miss the bear as they were coming back at half time.  She is now officially traumatized by this bear.  The other team had a huge helment, which Emma differentiated by saying, “The helment doesn’t have eyes, but the bear does… so it scares me.”  She understands it isn’t real, she even said that it doesn’t have feet so it can’t walk, but she does not want to go back to another game (we have season tickets!).  I asked her on Saturday morning if she had a good time at the game, at first she said yes, but then after thinking for a minute she said, “but not the bear!”  On Saturday afternoon we decided to go to the Ranger’s game, so I asked Emma if she wanted to go to a baseball game, she said, “not a football game!”  I proceeded to tell her that I was talking about baseball, not football.  Then her response makes her truly a girl after momma’s heart…. she said, “I want to go to a Mavericks’ game”  (with an emphasis on the word Mavericks!)  That’s my girl!

Of course I forgot my camera on Friday evening, so I have to wait for Neva to send me photos.. here’s some from the Ranger’s game though.

notice the go bears clapper… Emma’s fav part of Friday’s football game.
